Get Your Taxes Done for Only $9.95 - Here's How!

E-File Your Taxes

Nobody likes to think about taxes, let alone figure them.  OnLine Taxes makes it simple and fast!  OnLine Taxes offers electronic filing of your 2003 tax return through a straightforward Q&A program.  The program will take the data you enter, make the calculations, and create all the IRS forms.  By choosing the PIN program and electronic filing, you can have a completely paperless tax return.  E-filing makes getting your refund back faster! Gather your tax information, get a cup of coffee and sit down at your home computer and get started!

When will you receive your refund?

The IRS has issued a 2004 Refund Cycle Chart giving taxpayers an idea of when to expect their refunds to be deposited into their accounts.  The IRS releases refunds on Fridays.  Taxpayers who electronically file their returns and choose to have their refund direct deposited into their bank accounts usually receive their refund within 8-14 days.  Taxpayers choosing to have their refund mailed to them usually receive their refund in 15-21 days.  Electronically filed returns accepted by the IRS by noon on Thursday should receive a direct deposit refund the following Friday.  If the IRS for some reason holds a refund, taxpayers may call 1-800-829-1040 to find out the reason.  Please remember that your refund comes from the IRS and OnLine Taxes has no control of when the IRS sends out refunds.  We have included the link to the IRS refund cycle chart here: www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p2043.pdf

Don't Forget - Advanced Child Tax Credit

When going through the program, don't forget to enter the amount of money you received last August for the Advance Child Tax Credit.  The IRS issued checks to eligible taxpayers for the increase in the Child Tax Credit from $600 per child to $1000 per child.  Taxpayers received $400 per child claimed on their 2002 tax return.  If you cannot remember the exact amount you received, please visit the IRS website at www.irs.gov

You will need to click on the Advanced Child Tax Credit link and enter some of your information from your 2002 tax return.  Also, if you are not claiming the child that you received the advanced payment for this year, you do not have to pay the money back and it will not affect your 2003 tax return.

Get Your Taxes Done for Only $9.95

Electronically file your federal tax return for only $9.95.  OnLine Taxes offers an easy "fill in the blank" program to taxpayers who file simple 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ tax returns.  File your state tax return for only $5.95.  OnLine Taxes also offers a variety of easy payment options.  You can pay by credit card, pay from your refund, or pay from a refund loan.  When you pay from your refund or get a refund loan, your tax refund gets processed through a third party bank, Santa Barbara Bank and Trust.  SBBT will receive your refund and then take out OnLine Taxes fee (s) and their bank processing fee and then direct deposit the remainder of your refund into your bank account.  SBBT charges $12 to process the pay from refund option.  They charge anywhere from $29 to $94 for the refund loan option, depending on the amount of refund you are getting back.  Log on to OnLine Taxes now and get your tax return filed and your refund back fast.
